Package Naming
- Short, lowercase, single word:
user,auth,db,httpware - Avoid:
utils,common,shared,helpers,api(too generic) - Package is the name used in imports; use the same name as directory
- Files within a package: descriptive noun
user_handler.go,user_repository.go - One type per file for complex types, grouped files for related types
internal/enforces encapsulation at the build level (go tooling enforces)
Concurrency Model
Goroutines and Channels
- Goroutines are cheap: use freely for concurrent work (10K goroutines per instance is routine)
